For some time now I have been working with La Redoute. They are a brand I really love because they are affordable and have great quality pieces (one item is being put to the test in my next Testing Basics too!) Their designs are always so me too, with all the Parisian vibes I could ever wish for. Their most recent A/W collection is my fave yet, there are so many pieces I LOVE, and so here I have selected a few of my fave ones to hopefully make you guys feel inspired too. We have five looks, all perfect for Winter from day time attire to more evening appropriate outfits. And if you want to see these all in action then make sure to check out yesterday's lookbook which featured alllll of these outfits! La Redoute certainly have a huge selection online, so I thought I would share a few tips about what I look for on there and what are the best pieces to purchase from them.
My GIANNNNTT chunky knit has been hugely popular over on Instagram and it's a great piece for an amazing price (with 30% off right now too). I got mine in a size 12 so it would be nicely oversized! Generally they have a great selection of chunky knitwear, but I would also recommend their turtlenecks. I have one which I got last year and have washed about 2101393 times and it's still as good as new!
I love La Redoute for tailoring, especially their trousers. I do have this blazer here in my collection, but the trousers really do take the trophy for affordable tailoring. They have lots of different fits and styles - I tend to keep my focus on cropped trousers, that are either wide leg or straight leg. Sizing wise I always find they fit true to size.
Their coats this season are insane. These three; the faux fur, the khaki, and the grey one, are three that really stood out - but the options are pretty much endless. They are incredible quality for a great price. The faux fur is one of the few I have that has 'fur' that moves in a similar way to the real thing - making it look wayyyy more expensive than many faux fur coats do. The khaki coat is also fully lined with fleece - while it isn't one of my smarter coats this one will be great for day to day wear when popping out. If you watched the lookbook you may be able to tell just how cold it was when we shot this, and the khaki coat was by far the warmest of all the ones we have here!
La Redoute it SO overlooked for homeware. You HAVE to check it out here, especially the brand 'AM PM' which I know you will all love. Again, it's a great price, and they often have discount codes available which makes things even more tempting!
