Night Owl

Let's be clear, I am not a night owl. Much more of an early to bed early to rise kinda gal, but the dark evenings mean that I can pretend I am and take moody nighttime photos and still be in bed by 10pm. These were taken in London last week when Harry and I went down to London for my birthday for a couple of days. We started off by going out for dinner, followed a spot of shopping the next day (outfit from that coming your way tomorrow). I have been really into photos taken in the evenings recently, especially with city lights behind you. Blogging gets a lot harder through the Winter months with the short days, so embracing the darker days and nights seems to be the best way to keep everything ticking over!

My outfit for the evening was a mix of old and new. These Gucci boots I have had for over a year now... and I actually wore them on my last Birthday too! Maybe we have a tradition forming here?? I feel like I could gladly wear them year after year as I still love them as much as the day I got them. I teamed them with my Acne knit which is a a great piece to throw on and make a bit of a statement - the shape of the sleeves makes it such a stand out piece while still being easy to wear. Although, if you watched Sunday's Testing Basics, I am not overly blown away with his this knit has been for the price. Safe to say I am not quite getting the hype when it comes to Acne knits. It has been SUCH a pain to wash, meaning I know I am not going to get to wear it as much as I would hope when it takes two bloody days to dry!!! Anyway, enough winging, and onto the jeans. These newbies from ASOS have been my current favourites, I love the raw hem and two panels, perfect finishing touch to this outfit!
