Today I wanted to share with you all some recent high street hits I have acquired over the past few weeks. I am a big fan of mixing high street with high end, as you have all probably noticed. There have always been things I consistently invest in, like shoes and bags, but the rest of my wardrobe I am happy to browse the high street for. There is no doubt it can be pretty hit and miss, but the countless misses are worth the one hit you get for an amazing price.
This look is about 75% ASOS; the jeans, the coat and the scarf. The coat was in a recent Testing Basics, and this is the first time I have worn it since filming that video. The light speckling running through it made it the perfect piece to pair with these cream jeans. I love the fit of them and wearing cream for Autumn and Winter seems like a great way to break up a dark outfit while still keeping within a neutral colour palette. Especially when teamed with some black boots (these are from Topshop, and I love them) where the bottom of the jeans just sit slightly off the ankle boots - such a subtle touch to an outfit but I always love it so much! The giant scarf is another recent ASOS purchase and has been firmly attached to my body ever since Winter arrived in full force last week, it's the warmest thing ever and an absolute bargain too!
All in all these pieces made for the most perfect Autumn outfit (it's Autumn in these photos, incase you couldn't tell??) and I am hoping they will all be pieces I grab over the Winter months too! While I will always be an advocate in investing in certain things (mostly shoes and bags), there is nothing more satisfying than finding a high street piece that is a complete winner!
