Three Summer Dresses
I can feel myself getting more into dresses than ever before this Summer. I have been eyeing up so many for a while, and made a cheeky online order last week - so I thought I would share with you what I bought. We have three quite different styles here, so I hope there is something you all like - and of course let me know your faves! First up, as you saw in my latest video, I am having a little bit of boho moment with this one! I love the split sides so much, and I think it's going to be a great evening piece for my holidays too. In the meantime I am going to be wearing it over jeans, which makes it a little more versatile too.
Secondly, we have a little denim number. This one is just the most perfect length for me, and I love the high neck so much. It sort of makes it the perfect British summer piece, but a it's so loose fitting I think it would be totally manageable in hotter climates. It's such a simple piece, and as it's denim I found it so easy to style up - basically put anything you like with it, and it will look good! I am thinking it would look fab with a longline blazer over the top too. Anyways, for now I went with some strappy sandals and statement sunnies - a perfect, and super easy look, which I will definitely be wearing again over the summer months!
Finally, an LBD. Every year I have an LBD that I wear to death throughout the summer. It will come away with me on every trip, make its way out the wardrobe whenever the sunshine in England makes an appearance. This years is a pleated number. Pleats are something I am so into at the moment, they are just the perfect update to simple styles - just like this dress.
Super minimal pieces like this also allow me to be a little more adventurous with footwear/accessories, while still keeping the whole look feeling 'me' enough... welcome these incredible Aquazzura sandals. I am going to be sharing way more info about these in Sunday's video, but for now let me say: I love them!!! They completely go against all the things I normally love, but when I saw them online I just had to welcome them home. Expect to see lots of these throughout the Summer months.
