This post has been inspired by a combination of two things; a conversation about film camera with Laura, and Hannah's incredible post from last year. I loved Hannah's post so much when I first saw it, and photos of this quality have always drawn in my attention. After a chat with Laura about a film camera she had and the results you could get from it, I decided to purchase one for myself and get to creating some different content. I ordered one off eBay, and experimented while we were away away. I don't think I have loved any photos as much as I love these. They were everything I hoped and more, and the excitement of having to wait for the results makes it all the more rewarding.
Shooting on film has stolen my heart for sure, and I am going to be making this a weekly feature. From here on in, every week I will shoot with one roll of film, with 24 exposures, snapping away and sharing whatever I get up to in one weekly post. I hope you guys love these photos as much as I do, and let me know your thoughts on the idea of me sharing more and more of my film shootings.
Anyway, without further ado, here is my family holiday, captured on 35mm film, shot on the Olympus Mju II.
