This outfit is just a dream colour palette to me at the moment, one perfect to move into Spring without being particularly colourful or adventurous. Tan accessories have been a firm favourite with me after welcoming these Celine loafers into my life, which where swiftly followed by the Loewe bag. I have worn them both relentlessly throughout Winter but only plan to wear them more through the spring, and my eye keeps getting caught by other tan shoes so something tells me obsession for them is still very much alive.
Even though I look a little like I am off to play the Masters in this jacket, the colour is what made me really want to welcome yet another blazer into my wardrobe. It look great with denim, but just as good with lighter trousers like these Isabel Marant ones. There were a splurge I made about a month ago and I am hoping to get as much wear out of them as possible throughout the Spring months. Looking at these photos though I can't help but wish I had given it a bit of an iron, which reminds me once again while the wool blazer will always reign supreme for me - no upkeep needed at all with those ones. (Having a wardrobe that requires zero ironing is possibly my biggest life goal, and I am no where near close to it right now).
As I said in yesterday's post, there are combinations for my outfits I always go back to. And this really is just a slight variation on that, the only change really being the light trouser in favour of denim. But that cropped leg, longline blazer, shoe that sits high on the foot - these are the proportions and shapes that make me love an outfit so much! And while I always try to update that combination, wear different things so I can share new content and ideas with you guys, there is always an element of 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. This sort of outfit perfectly fits that mantra for me!
