Some of my favourite ever photos right here today. We shot these on film just around the corner from my flat. Those iconic white houses of Notting Hill look even more amazing on film!
And this is also an outfit I really love too, despite it essentially just being jeans and a t-shirt. These jeans are some of my oldest Levi's, they're miles too big in every way but worn with a belt they look amazing. The length of them is great to team with some heels, they're completely awkward and therefore fabulous. Every time I wear them I make a mental note that I need to wear them more often too! This t-shirt was the winner of my white t-shirts Testing Basics, I have been continuously reaching for it. I am actually wearing it right now as I write this post too. It's been through the wash several times already and always comes out just the way it went in.
This week has been an extra tiring one. I have been burning the candle at both ends recently; working as hard as possible and socialising a lot as I get used to London and also living alone. That along with a body clock that refuses to let me sleep in past 7am (an improvement on 6am which was last week's wake up time) means I am starting to feel like things are catching up with me a little. Not to be a moaner, and it's nothing a good Aperol Spritz and a lot of chocolate won't cure! These past few months have really taught me the value of sharing the ups and downs with you all. Even if I don't divulge too much personal information, just sharing with you that there are stressful days where I do feel overwhelmed really helps me get it off my chest. And then when you all share your own stories and wisdom with me, it completely lifts me back up! I can't say thank you enough for that, I genuinely feel like I am on a journey with 1000s of people and I couldn't ask for anything more.
Anyway I am going to keep this short and sweet today. I hope you all have great bank holiday weekends, it's Notting Hill Carnival which from what I have heard it quite the experience and is also going to leave me more or less trapped in Notting Hill over the weekend, just as well it makes such a great backdrop for photos, ey?!
