Another weekend, another incredible opportunity brought my way by Zalando. I have lost count of how many times I have talked about them on here, ordered online with them, and thanked them for so many things… but here we go again! Thank you, Zalando, for all these experiences! This time it was Lovebox , another festival in London’s Victoria Park. This time I went with my best friend, Katie, and it was the perfect girly weekend… and this time the weather gods blessed us with some sunshine too! YAY! Like Fieldday, Lovebox is a non-camping festival over two days, making it the perfect time to perfect your festival looks on each day, with a shower in between. For my first look I went for something I feel I haven’t done in agesss, an all black outfit. It always has a slight grungy feel to it, which is my ideal festival vibe too. These Levi’s jeans are my new faves ever and I am loving so much I am going to do a post all about them later this week to share more about the fit and style ‘cos believe me when I say they’re perfect! Also, these boots are a festival must - they’re pretty much the perfect price point for festival footwear too as it’s not the end of the world if they get a bit scruffy - thankfully Lovebox was a mud free affair so it wasn’t even a problem.
The second day was even hotter than the first - and thankfully I had the perfect look for it. I has planned to wear my Zign boots again, but it was too hot for that sadly (well, not sadly, but kinda sadly ‘cos I love them). The power piece of this look was this cropped trench from opus, I literally think I have found the perfect festival piece with this one. The shade and style brings all the chic qualities of a classic trench to the outfit, but the shorter style makes it the perfect casual piece for a festival - it also looked good tied around the waist, talk about practical! Slung over some vintage denim shorts and a super soft breton tee, and I had my fave festival look ever. You see so many denim shorts at festivals, and while they really are a great piece, it’s hard not to look a little same-y after a while. I think this look, thanks to the trench, brought in a slightly smarter edge to things that made me feel much more ‘me’ and a little different to the hoards of denim clad girls there too.
All in all it was an amazing weekend, filled with lots of dancing, drinks (Saturday morning was a little painful) and good company. Stay tuned for my vlog tomorrow to see more of what we got up too.. and Katie's very interesting dancing too.
