On The Way Out
Snapped some photos on my film camera on the way out to the pub last week. I mentioned in a recent Week on Film that I want to experiment more with flash photography, so that is what we did! I love how they turned out. Recently some of my favourite posts have been ones shot in the moment with little planning involve, and these ones are just perfect. All about capturing those moments, and the flash makes them all the more enjoyable, I deffo want to do some nighttime streetstyle flash photos too.
This is the outfit I want to wear literally every single day at the moment. I love it when you strike gold on a combination that makes you go yessss I will wear this forever more and never have to think about my outfits again. This was one of those for me, the proportions are perfect; oversized blazer, skin tight top, cropped jeans and shoes that cut low on the foot. Little details that makes a simple combination feel all the more interesting. Of course my Stella blazer is the show stopping piece, which I think we all know will feature heavily in my looks until the very end of time now. These jeans are the BDG Axyl which I now have in two different washes. Recently I have been thinking more and more about wearing skinny jeans again, and these are a sort of good middle ground fit. In terms of sizing for these, go for the smallest you can squeeze into - they so give a lot and you can expect them to go up almost an entire waist size. I have been imagining more and more looks with black skinnies for Autumn to watch this space for now... I don't want to speak too soon and say I am getting bored of my beloved high waisted denim, but maybe it's time to broaden the horizons and step away from the & Other Stories jeans!
The shoes I introduced you to yesterday, and I currently have 1893011 tabs open on my laptop as I search for four similar pairs so I can film a testing basics on this style of shoe for you all. I feel like they're the perfect transitional shoe, and this particular pair are a dream come true. I have been wearing them most days while the weather is permitting, and they just work with every single outfit I wear. Definitely a good purchase, and if you have seen anything similar on the high street then do please let me know.
