Happy Monday everyone! I am back in gloomy Manchester now after the most incredible week away in Bangkok... more on that later this week, but for now I wanted to share a quick outfit from the weekend. My absolute favourite blog posts to share are ones taken in the moment. Ones that share my outfit there and then, in the environment I wore it in. Most of the time my schedule doesn't allow me to shoot in this way, and in order to keep on top of my content I have to do it in bulk. But on Sunday, Harry and I headed out to Chorlton for some Sunday lunch, camera in hand. It was the perfect spot for a delicious pub lunch (we went to Palour, if you're ever in the area I would reccomend it) and have a little bit of a wander around. It was also bitterly cold, but the perfect time to wear my all time favourite winter combo; skinny jeans, clompy boots, a high neck knit, and a long coat. God knows how many times I have worn this combination in different variations in the past, and will continue to wear many many times more. It's such an easy combination to put together and always looks amazing - plus you can just mix up the denim and the knit to make it feel different and refreshed every time. Those of you who watch my Testing Basics often ask me which are the 'best of the best', and if my opinions ever change on the pieces over time. While I do hope to do a 'best of' video at some point, looking at these outfits is the best way to work out which pieces are really performing well long term. Such as these Weekday Jeans which I continue to wear all the time, and have washed perfectly so many times. And my & Other Stories coat which, along with my Jigsaw Conker Coat, have been the two most worn pieces from that video. The boots are part of the next one I have coming up this weekend... so I shall keep my mouth zipped on my thoughts on these for now.
Anyways, I hope you all had wonderful weekends. I have been planning content like a maniac over the weekend, and have lots of festive things coming your way soon (if all goes to plan, which it probably won't), but do let me know if you have any specific requests in relation to the Christmas season which is fast approaching. Of course I have 1048202x outfits to share between now and Christmas, on here and on my YouTube so stay tuned for all of that!
