New Favourite Knitwear

You all know how much of a lover I am of a good knit. I am rarely without my knitwear in the winter months, so I am a firm believer you can never have too many! So discovering a new go-to for knitwear is a pretty exciting moment for me. Everyone say hello to my new go-to spot for knitwear.. GAP. I haven't shopped at GAP in ages, and I mean agesss. I used to be a very big fan of the hoodies with 'GAP' written across the front, and now once again GAP has provided me with some cosy warm options (although more stylish ones!) So, without further ado, here are three knits I have picked up from GAP, that I have been wearing day in, day out, ever since.

First up we have this gorgeous cashmere charcoal number. This is actually my first ever cashmere jumper, and I can tell this is a pretty life changing moment (perhaps that's a slight over exaggeration?!). It's the softest piece ever, and gives me that slouchy yet perfect fit I am always after in a knit. It's also on sale too, so don't hang about!

Knit number two, a v-neck number. V-neck knits are always great for day and night, and are also a perfect layering piece! I sized up to a large in this one (well, actually all of these jumpers are a size large as I much prefer an oversized piece), and I love the fit. Although this one isn't cashmere, it's still super soft. I chose to tuck the front into my jeans, which I always find to be more flattering, but this style of jumper is perfect for lazy days slung over some skinny jeans with some converse.

Aannnnddd finally, we have my personal favourite. The slightly-statement-but-not-too-much knit (official terminology there). Lighter colour knits are great for lovers of a darker colour palette, as they go with everything but really break things up a little bit. BUT even better is a jumper like this, one that graduates to darker colours and completely pulls the outfit together for you. It incorporates a little bit of excitement within a completely minimal piece. I tried this one with a few different trousers - and it has a completely different vibe if you go for blue denim, or black trousers. Both of them look great, but black trousers won for me in the end!
