Leeds Victoria Gate
This post is sponsored by GANT.
So it was a rainy, very grey, and pretty miserable Thursday evening (I think my hair is not feeling all too thankful for this Wintery weather), but, it was also a very very exciting evening!
Lots of you saw this post I created with GANT a few weeks ago, where I was swooning over their incredible pieces. This continued in store this week, but not just any old store... GANT's incredible brand spanking new store in Victoria Gate, Leeds' brand spanking new shopping centre. Any of you who are from Leeds will undoubtedly already know about the amazing new shopping centre, I have been looking forward to it for ages, and it did not disappoint! For the grand opening I hosted an event with GANT, another 'pinch me' moment when my job involves talking to people about gorgeous clothes and drinking incredible cocktails. It was such an incredible evening and thank you so much to those of you who came to say hi!
Their beautiful new store is over two levels (ladies upstairs, so don't just walk in and out thinking it's just menswear), they have an incredible selection of GANT's pieces (including my gorgeous reversible coat, that I got so many compliments on), so make sure to stop by next time you find yourself in the new shiny end of Leeds.
So, onto the outfit. Now please do ignore my wet hair here, but it's a very typical look for a Winter's day in the North.. so hopefully you guys can find some inspiration for how to dress for the most miserable of evenings!
After expressing my love for GANT's shirts, of course I had to wear one for the occasion! This time I went with a menswear one as I was wanted something nicely oversized, and this one also happened to have the most gorgeous button down detailing on the collar. As it was wet and grey I needed to wear a coat, so I brought out my reversible wool coat again which is so effortless to throw on but looks so good too! On my bottom half I opted for the leather trousers - something a little smarter than jeans, but their skinny fit works perfectly with the men's shirt and the long coat. And finally, some loafers. These are so comfortable, and are the most flattering fit and shape on the foot. You guys all know how much I love a good loafers, and these ones are ticking all the boxes!
It was a comfy and easy outfit which was essential for an event, but one I also felt really good in and super comfortable. I can't stress enough how much my outfits dictate my confidence - and it's kinda obvious that it's so important to feel confident when hosting an event too. So I am so thankful to have been able to wear pieces that feel so 'me' and that I could wear day in day out!
