Gloomy gloomy London! These were taken last week when I popped down to the capital for a couple of days for some blogging events, meetings, and a catch up with the always lovely Lindsey from Ropes of Holland, who also took these snaps for me! We were both absolutely hanging (see second photo down for an incredible hangover face) on Friday morning after a few too many cocktails on Thursday evening from an incredible event with La Redoute the night before, so going out and shooting seemed like one hell of a chore. We managed to shuffle our way towards Portobello Market, whinging and groaning as we went, and then stumbled across one of those oh so wonderful white walled streets. While I love the grungy look of Manchester's Northern Quarter, I can't resist the polished posh streets of London from time to time, and it was a pleasant update! My hungover outfit was, surprise surprise, focused on comfort. And was the first outing for my & Other Stories jacket that I mentioned in my latest video (it hasn't appeared online yet, but I bought it in store last week so hopefully it will be there soon!) - I really love the colour and the boxy cut of this one, it's completely unflattering but looks incredible all the same! It is a super soft material so ticked all the comfort boxes, and worked very nicely indeed with my almost all black outfit!
