WOAH I went for it with the beige, didn't I?! I ordered this jacket after doing my little sales round up last week, and I love it so much. As soon as it arrived I fell in love with the colour. Something about it felt so sophisticated and chic, and so I decided to really play up on that with the rest of the outfit too. These trousers are part of my next Testing Basics which is coming your way this Sunday, and they happened to be the perfect match for the jacket too. I am partial to a little bit of matchy-matchy dressing every now and then, but it's important not to go overboard. I went for a white tee to break things up a little bit, while remaining within the lighter colour palette. Finally, the black shoes tied in with the dark buttons, while the woven sole was in keeping with my love for beige. Simple little touches to really pull an outfit together!
A quick note about the jacket: the quality is really lovely, and the structure you get once you have belted it really elevates the jacket into something way more interesting. The shoulders are very large and fit quite far off the body, so make sure to go for your normal size if it's still available.
Forgive me for keeping it short and sweet, and actually for doing that a little too often recently, I hope you guys don't mind this sometimes being a quick read! I am going on my hollies on Saturday (so sooo excited) so am a little rushed trying to get as much work finished by the time we go away. But there are two pretty hefty posts coming your way tomorrow and on Friday, so hopefully that will make up for things!
