Closing In

So it really is feeling like Winter is closing in. With the clocks going back, the dark evenings are very much upon us, and the temperature has settled to below 10 degrees most days. I am for one am not complaining (yet), the Winter wardrobe is in full flow and the cosy evenings really help me take control of working late into the evening (read: I can't be bothered working when it's dark, so I avoid it where possible). I have also begun my personal mince pie season which runs annually between November and Christmas, within that time I have one daily and also try ones from every supermarket there is. Tesco's are currently winning, but I am only a few days in so it's not been a fair competition just yet. Will keep you updated as this develops as I imagine you will all be itching to know.

Anyway, enough about mince pies, because you all know my true love for Winter lies in my wardrobe. I have already gone wild with coat buying, there are approximately 10028220 pairs of boots I have my eye on, and I even bought a new scarf the other day. So when REVOLVE got in touch and asked if i would like to receive some goodies for my winter wardrobe, I was all over that! I went straight for the coats section and picked out this gorgeous faux fur number. This wins hands down as the softest faux fur I have ever felt, and I love the puffed out sleeves to add an interesting sillouhette to what is otherwise a very minimal piece.

And of course, these incredible jeans from GRLFRND which are the perfect fit - they are totally reminiscent of vintage 501s and anything that achieves that is a complete winner in my book as it saves endless rummaging around for a pair that actually fit. I teamed mine with my Dear Frances boots which are the bestest boots ever to wear with straight leg jeans like these ones.
