Sharing a really simple look today. I wore this on a slightly hungover Sunday a couple of weeks ago and ended up loving the outfit so much I wanted to share it on the blog too. It was the first proper coat outing I have had of the year, and this particular coat was one I bought last Winter that & Other Stories have stocked again. I am so pleased it's available for you guys to get your hands on, because it is such a great coat. I wore it loads last Winter, and it still looks and feels as good as new. The camel shade is just right too - I think camel coats can be make or break when it comes to the colour, which can make them look so cheap. There is not many combinations as chic as a black outfit with a camel coat, not to mention easy to throw on and easy to recreate in some way with what you already have in your wardrobe.
The other thing I wanted to mention are these insane boots I have bought for Testing Basics, which I will share with you guys this Sunday. These are the most expensive pair and I really love them, to the point where I have missed being able to wear them while I have been in LA. I love them with slightly shorter jeans so you flash a little bit of ankle, it gives that awkward vibe that I often mention and really love.
I have been unsure about what sort of looks I want to go for this Winter. The Scandinavian combination of trainers and coats inspires me every year, but I am also being drawn to more OTT winter looks with big faux fur and ankle boots. But for now, these sort of looks will always work for me. No fuss, lots of pieces I know I love and always feel good and stylish in. These jeans are the BDG Ayxl, which I now have in three different washes. They are some of my all time favourite high street denim, and this washed black shade is so perfect for Autumn and Winter.
