From some Spring vibes yesterday, back to Winter today. Albeit Winter on a lighter colour palette. While I am looking forward to bare legs season (and I feel everyone is itching for this more and usual this year), I am well aware that by August I will be missing my layers, coats and boots. So while I am whinging most days when I look out of the window, I am also trying to make the most of the cold weather pieces I have loved. Of course this Joseph coat is a big one of those. I get a lot of questions about the upkeep of this, and I am very pleased to say I have had no mishaps with this. I have worn it a lot, and it hasn't needed a single trip to the dry cleaners. Despite tube trips, days around London, being stuffed into a suitcase, it's looking as good as new which is definitely witchcraft because people who know me will know I am not the tidiest person. And I still love it as much as I did the day I got it!
The Dior boots are still going strong with me - as they should given the price tag and how recently they have come into my wardrobe. Now I must share that I have already worn the heels down to the metal tip - and I am not sure whether that is to be expected with a boot like this (I have walked a lot in there), or to be annoyed that such an expensive pair of shoes are already needing some upkeep?! I have never had a pair of skinny heels like this that I have walked in so much, so this is new territory for me. Aside from that, the buttery leather on these is wearing in perfectly and I am reaching for them almost everyday. I love how skinny they are on the foot and ankle and they just work with every outfit I go for.
The & Other Stories jeans need no introduction now, possibly my most worn style of jeans and I think my love for these has actually come to define my style a little bit (who am I kidding, probably a lot). I still love them, the seam on the right leg has twisted a bit but I am willing to forgive it and would have no issue repurchasing these anyways - still some of the best jeans the high street as to offer in my opinion. And my Blouse t-shirt is still holding up well - it's cool wearing it under a jacket knowing it has a huge slogan on the back, sort of like my own little secret, and I am 100% going to brave walking around London in a t-shirt saying 'Looking Gorgeous' in giant letters in the back when it's Spring, because why not?!
