It's sale season!!! A lot of my high end pieces have been sale finds, and every New Year I spend more time than I would care to admit online shopping. This year I filmed the process to share with you (although I have since been tempted by more pieces, I promise to share any other purchases in a blog post), and I had to shoot a blog post with some of my new pieces as soon as I could! The two new items in question here are these incredible monochrome slip on loafers - how 'me' are these shoes?! I already know how much wear I will be getting out of these. The second piece is this Isabel Marant jacket. How amazing is this?! The perfect piece to break me out of my cropped-jeans-with-long-coat combo that I can't seem to move on from at the moment.
So aside from the pieces I have treated myself too, I thought I would share some of the other pieces I have been loving. I am seriously feeling tempted by some platform sandals at the moment, which may well be my next hit! Generally, I focus on shoes, and there are always loadssss that I want. From boots to heels, I like to look for statement pieces that normally sit at an eye-watering price point, and classic styles I know wont give me buyers remorse.
Coats and blazers always get my attention a little too. Generally all the coats tend to still be really expensive and out of my budget, but I am keeping my eye on this Max Mara number in the hope it will reduce in price a little further... that is definitely a piece that wouldn't give me buyers remorse. Of course blazers are an obvious one for me - an item I could never have too many of as I just wear them so much. I would recommend picking up an Isabel Marant one if you're feeling tempted, some of my all time favourite blazers are from Marant, and they are often super heavy material too so you can wear them through winter.
I did have a little browse through handbags too, in the hope I could find you guys lots of wonderful bargains. But there was only a measly total of FOUR that I liked!!! Now I know I am not much of a bag lady, but seriously... four?! In this case it really does seem that they keep the best ones out of the sales.
