Mini Knitwear Edit
Sharing some new knits with you all today! I have picked up some really great ones which make me feel like all my knitwear dreams are answered for the season already. So far my go to spots have been & Other Stories and Weekday for the most part - both offering a huge choice for a good price. I have spoke about this in a a video but I am into cardigans at the moment. I l love how they look done up and tucked into denim, but also over a t-shirt worn undone (see here). I love them for an easy layering piece, and this chunky one is amazing for that - the only problem is you can't wear it under a slim fitting jacket because you get that bunched up armpit thing which has to be one of the most uncomfortable feelings in the world.
Anyway, bunched up armpits aside, I think cardigans are going to be one of my key styling pieces for this Winter, and a great way to still wear your lightweight jackets for a little longer too. The thought of it ever being too cold for me to wear my Stella McCartney jacket makes me feel a little sad so lets hold onto layering as much as possible.

Second is this little beauty from J.W Anderson x Uniqlo, which I picked up in store when I went into get some socks. Did my best to walk through there with blinkers on straight to the sock department but got majorly distracted by everything as always. I am determined to feature their pieces more and more in Testing Basics for A/W too as the things I have from there are brilliant, and people always rave about it so much. This knit is a good'un too - love the little button details, and a cream knit is such an essential in my winter wardrobe. Currently wearing with my most manly jeans and scruffy Converse, never not in the mood for that laid back vibe!

Some more & Other Stories love coming here with the final two looks. This 'Paris' one (which could be read as PAAIS or PRRIS because the A and R are almost identical) is a little bit of a fun piece for me. Definitely a great one to throw on for those easy days, but also a bit of a statement to add to a knitwear collection. The main thing I love about it is how thick and soft it is, hence it being such a great piece for those lazy days too. And the purple one below is one I have been wearing a lot too - I think I am having a thing for this colour because I love how it looks with darker hair (which I am still not loving but won't go on about it because I am at the risk of loosing friends now I have been whining about it so much). Anything nothing actually compares to a high neck jumper. There are still photos of denim styled with high neck knits that have been floating around Pinterest for years that always catch my eye, such a timeless combination.
