The Girly Shoe
Up until very recently I was strictly a high heel or complete flat kind of a gal. I never really got the mid heel thing (I still don't get kitten heels and have never seen a pair I like!) and then the usual happened, I saw about 183749282 images on Pinterest of mid block heeled shoes and I started to change my mind about the mid heel. One of the most amazing things about having so much fashion inspiration at our fingertips through blogs, Pinterest and Instagram is the way we are exposed to trends. We see the same thing worn in so many different ways that eventually you can imagine something sitting in your own wardrobe. I don't follow trends, but because of the inspiration I see, I eventually welcome certain trends into my wardrobe (such as the slide sandals, which I hated when I first saw them, and now they're by far my favourite style of sandal). So when I had the opportunity to pick something out from Farfetch, these shoes caught my eye. They stock an incredible amount of items, so it really is a testament to their gorgeousness when I say these stood out for me! I haven't had them off my feet since they arrived. I don't have a shoe like this in my collection, so I was a little apprehensive that they wouldn't work well with things, but I was completely wrong - they go with EVERYTHING! I am especially loving how girly they feel, which contrasts my love for the androgynous and oversized perfectly - it's safe to say I am smitten with them!
