Three Looks Around London
New week, new post! This one features the looks that were in yesterday's video. It was my favourite video I have ever posted, but I was so nervous about sharing it! I love to try different things from time to time, but it's always a little nerve racking doing something different. But, of course, you all loved it and left me so many incredible comments - so thank you so much for always being so enthusiastic and supportive! The video, and these images, are all down to the very talented Ben, who came up with the idea to shoot in a Super 8 style, and he executed it perfectly!! He is also an incredible photographer, and we shot these looks at three different locations around London. I love being able to not just collaborate with brands, but also creatives who can bring totally new things to my blog!
Anyways, lets talk outfits! I chose three looks that incorporated a few new pieces alongside some old favourites. This time of year is all about introducing new pieces into your wardrobe for the upcoming cold season, but I do like to keep on wearing the old favourites. So, I ordered three new pieces off Zalando; these gorgeous blue suede boots, a longline knit, and one of the best blazers I have ever bought.
I love the three new pieces I got so so much, especially as they all have fit so well into my wardrobe. They're been wearable now for the oddly mild weather, but also will be on a regular rotation throughout the winter. These blue boots are an absolute dream, I love the colour so much and they are so so comfy. I've been wearing them pretty regularly with denim, and have been wondering why I have never bought any blue shoes before. Teamed with the jeans that I wore to death while in Vancouver, the my striped shirt that you have all seen many many times before.
The second newbie is this Fillipa K knit, another longline piece that looks just as good on it's own as it does over some denim. I don't think I need to mention how much I love longline pieces, I find them so flattering and this knit is no exception. I love the slightly flared sleeves and how long they are, it's so easy to sling on and looks so great. I actually wore it again the other day with a turtleneck underneath which I really loved and made me realise that this could be an amazing layering piece throughout Winter too. Anyways, this time I wore it with these Vans which I imagine you might be getting a little bit sick of seeing now. I have worn these so much throughout the past month or so!
And finally the hero piece, this amazing blazer. It's already been in various blog posts (and in countless Instagram posts) over the past couple of weeks. I have been wearing it so much since I got it. I love blazers like this one and I am constantly on the hunt for ones in this colour palette, and this one it ticking all the boxes. I love how it looks both done up and undone, and believe me when I say it goes with everything. It was a great companion to the Fillipa K knit too. It has split sides so isn't wearable just on it's own, but the length of the blazer made it all work perfectly!
