Where we stayed in amsterdam

For the second installation of my Amsterdam posts I wanted to share with you the hotel we stayed in, which is basically like my interior dream and has given me a big desire to add mustard colours into my home wherever possible!

We have stayed at the Hotel V Nesplein, and I honestly cannot reccomend this hotel enough. The location is amazing, right next to Dam Square so you literally cannot get more central. The staff are amazing, and so willing to help - I genuinely don't think I have had a warmer welcome at a hotel before!

We stayed in a Superior room and it's the perfect size. As I have still been blogging while we have been here, we do spend a few hours each day sat in the room, and it's been so very relaxing. Like right now I am sat on the leather chair of my dreams, thinking about how I need to get ready to go out.. and how I sort of don't want to!! And speaking of this leather chair, the furniture is just incredible and I am staring at a vase right now that I think might fit in my suitcase if I sacrifice my make up bag...

Not only is the room amazing, the whole hotel is pretty much a dream! I have been vlogging away so I am going to show you it all in much more detail once that video is live next week. But let these photos be a testiment to just how photogenic this place it - any Instagram addict's dream!

Also, the restaurant. I am going to miss my beloved restaurant. We ate here twice out of just three nights, which just shows how amazingly good it was. On both nights I had duck , and a pudding, and a giant gin and tonic... and generally just an amazing time. Honestly, it's up there in my favourite restaurants ever list (this is a non-existent list, but if I were to make it a real thing this would be in it). Even if you are not staying at the hotel, make sure you visit the restaurant.. for all three meals of the day. On every day. I insist.

Just a little disclaimer for you guys. Hotel V Nesplein kindly offered me 25% off our stay here. But, my opinions and excitement about this amazing hotel could not be more genuine - and as I mentioned, stay tuned for more coverage in the vlog

P. S LOOK at this incredible chandelier. I think I will have to leave my make up and all shoes behind to fit that in my suitcase too.
