I shot three rolls of film while in Italy so I am going to split this into two parts; the outfits I wore, and then the rest, which I will share later this week! I really loved my holiday looks, if I do say so myself. For once I managed not to overpack, and I felt like I had planned my looks really well - mostly because I took a lot of dresses which require minimal styling. Also Tropea is just meant to be shot on film, it suits it so so well and I love how all the images have turned out. So without further ado, lets get into the outfits.
As I said I had a lot of dresses. I was shooting a Testing Basics; Midi Dresses, and it's made me want to spend most of my holidays in midi dresses in the future. Especially when they are as gorgeous as this DVF one, which I felt amazing in. The print and colours are so so gorgeous, and the cut is incredibly flattering. It's an insanely expensive dress, but it totally looks and feels it. I am determined to make this work with an outfit in England too (how I can wear these pieces back home is going to be a strong theme in this post)!

P.S - a little heads up, for this week and next I am just going to be posting Monday-Wednesday-Friday while I move down to London and get settled in. Need a little time to catch up on content and shooting again, which is top of the list as soon as I get down there.
Another dress, but this time a little shorter. This one was so so easy to throw on and have a cool outfit ready instantly. I love the frilled hem and the belt too, which hides a multitude of sins if you're binging on pizza and ice cream like I was all week. It also went perfectly with my Celine sunglasses, which are possibly one of my best purchases this Summer. They have completed so many of my outfits for the past couple of months, I am so glad I bought them.
Realisation Par and Italy is a match made in heaven. I feel like I have seen so many gorgeous photos of girls in their tea dresses in the streets of Rome this Summer. They are insanely flattering dresses, and completely effortlessly chic. Teamed with some two strap heels (these are the comfiest pair in my collection) and a little handbag and I was good to go. This was one of my favourite outfits of the whole week.

This might have been my most favourite outfit of all! I have been itching to wear these amazing Paul Smith trousers again, and I can just about get away with flats with them, although the hem does drag a little bit. This crop reminds me of LA so much, possibly because that is the only time I have worn it. I love the fact it's a decent length, meaning it doesn't leave too much tummy on show when paired with some high waisted trousers.

A quick pause to appreciate the fact I actually look a bit tanned in the above photo.
Thank you for that! The dress wasn't my favourite to wear as it kept blowing open meaning most of Tropea has now seen my knickers. I did feel mega chic in this though, mostly down to it's simplicity. I finally broke in my Charlotte Olympia slides too! Thank GOD because they have been absolute killers, and I am pleased I can make the most of wearing them with jeans back home for the rest of Summer too.

All Topshop this time around! I bloody love this blouse and have been wearing it endlessly recently. It looks amazing with denim, but this time I went with some paper bag waist shorts. This was actually the last evening we were there so I was very much in need of an adjustable waistband by this point. These sunnies are a Gucci pair I bought last Summer in Tropea, and I still love them as much as the day I got them!
This look was one a super laid back one for a little mooching about and a coffee by the sea. I loveeeeee this skirt from Urban Outfitters and I am hoping I manage to wear it in England a little bit, with black blazer and some Vans it would look so cool. Next on my list for Testing Basics is white t-shirts, but I can already tell you that this one from LNA is fab. I am usually more of a fan of a crew neck in a t-shirt, but this v-neck one has been worn many many times since I picked it up in LA.

AND finally, my favourite dress from Testing Basics, this & Other Stories beauty I wore on our first night there. This literally fits like a dream, and I love every thing about it. I hoping to wear it this week in London with some Vans (I feel like I have spoken about Vans a lot in this post, clearly they are on my mind), and a cropped leather jacket. It's kinda pricey for the high street but in my opinion is completely worth that price tag!
