Musings and Thoughts

Back on my local street again stomping around in jeans several sizes too big and an amazing knit I picked up in the sale, but still cost a small fortune. I spied it in Leeds in the Harvey Nichols sale and went for it after having spent lots of time swooning over most things Khaite has online, but my god it's such an insanely expensive brand it kills me!! It's one of the softest cashmere knits I have ever owned, and I love the subtle sexiness of the off the shoulder detail and the split sides. Tucked into my giant jeans, which I often wear around the house low on my hips (it's a very 2000s look), but tend to belt up when I wear them out and about. Of course my cream Dear Frances boots were a perfect match with the knit, I love the colour of these and they work so well with a light wash denim. I am wearing them as much as possible now but I think they will really come into their element in the Spring.

Aside from my usual outfit ramblings, something I wanted to start sharing in some posts were quotes I come across online. Reading more is a constant goal of mine that I seem to constantly fail at too, but I have been getting very into Tumblr accounts that share quotes - some of them are a load of rubbish but the odd one really gets me thinking about things. We all can go around with so much buzzing in our heads that can be hard to put into words sometimes, and the odd thing I read online can give me a little bit of wisdom from time to time. The one I have shared below is definitely one that stuck out to me in recent weeks - and I actually have been reading through the entire piece by Julien Smith hereDefinitely recommend you guys have a read of this!
