You all know how important I think good quality pieces are. That has been the whole point of my 'Testing Basics' series; to find the best quality pieces for the best price. One brand that never falter in quality is Jigsaw. I haven't got a single piece from them that I wouldn't recommend, and that importance of quality becomes even more important for A/W. We are all about to buy pieces that we will wear for months on end, and almost daily. The dark mornings make it harder to get dressed, I know I get lazier with my outfits and rely on a few pieces I love to make me feel good everyday. Whether you're looking for a new work wardrobe, day to day casual wear, or more evening appropriate looks, Jigsaw will have pieces for you. But, most importantly, the pieces can span all three categories.
So I have three looks to share with you today. All shot on film by Paul T James, I think these are some of my most favourite photos I have ever shared on here. And another thing which is a favourite for me; this incredible coat. I don't want to say too much about it just yet as it's going to be part of an upcoming Testing Basics, but it is safe to say I am obsessed with it! What I will say is that it is one of the most beautiful coats I have ever owned, and I know I am going to struggle to find one that beats it! It's so giant it's sort of covered up the top I have underneath, which is this sheer knit. I have been wearing this top quite a bit on evenings out recently and it looks so good - especially with denim!
And now for the second look, which sort of made the most of the warmer weather. Of course this would look as amazing with a jacket or coat over it, but it's nice to be able to focus on this incredible shirt. I love the print so much, it's subtle enough for me to feel comfortable in but also exciting enough to bring a little something different to my looks. Perfect companion in an effortless look like this one, and it brings a welcome feminine touch to a masculine piece too. All in all, I am loving it. I wore with with my Jigsaw loafers that I have had for a while now. Easily one of the best pairs of loafers I have, they look incredible and are the most perfect minimal style.
And finally, a little bit of knitwear. I can't tell you how soft this jumper is, and it's the most perfect fit ever. I have been inspired by this image floating around on Pinterest for such a long time, and I have never been able to find a knit that comes to close to recreating it, but this one does a great job. So with that in mind, imagine my excitement when I also found the perfect trousers too. Not only do these trousers look amazing, but they are so comfy too - and not to mention the most incredible fit. All in all, this outfit was one super comfortable dreaaaammm, which I could (and probably will) wear day in, day out for Autumn.. and then add a few more layers as it gets colder.
