It's A Look
Sharing a million billion photos today from my film camera in Amsterdam. The first lot of which aren't my best because I was beyond tired and also hungover, but I sorta like that about them because it's a fond memory of being in Amsterdam. I love seeing lots of my looks altogether like this because it helps me to see what I am really loving at the moment. For instance, that & Other Stories blazer and my Topshop jeans, both pieces I have been wearing today too. I am madly into the length of the jeans which is a dream to pair with some boots, and the oversized fit of the blazer couldn't be anymore perfect. Someone even commented on an Instagram the other day that I was really into this jacket.. it made me feel both a little guilty for wearing it so much, but also pleased that you guys know when I love something like this. Nothing beats effortless tailoring in my eyes, as you all probably know already. Especially when you're tired and hungover like I was here, when you really need some great pieces to throw on and make you feel better about things and like you actually stand a chance at taking on the day.
Same goes for this & Other Stories cardigan which I have been wearing all of the time - I am actually writing this post from Paris where I have been wearing a different cardigan which I will be sharing next week, because honestly I am so into them at the moment and they are something I think everyone needs in their Winter wardrobe. And the Gucci loafers of course - these backless ones will go away soon becasue I find them too hard to keep on my feet in the cold (hence why my slingback ones are my all time faves), and I will be swapping them for my red full back ones, while also keeping one eye on the Gucci website incase any other amazing ones come in, they are a style of shoe I don't think I could have enough colours in.
JACKET: & OTHER STORIES | SHOES: GUCCI | JEANS: TOPSHOP | T-SHIRT: & OTHER STORIES | CARDIGAN: & OTHER STORIES | BAG: ROKSANDA
Quick mention for another gorgeous jacket, and an incredible pair of boots. This Jigsaw jacket has been welcomed into my collection of longline Jigsaw jackets that I am very proud and fond of. This one is wool so is more on the coat side of things, but has that incredible fit I fall for every time. And we all give a moments silence for the Weekday cashmere knit that I have on here which is no longer with us after I accidentally put it in the washer and dryer last week and now would fit a six year old. I was so gutted when I realised as I loved that knit, it served me very well for the few weeks it lasted. Let this be a lesson for throwing washing in the machine in a rush and not properly checking - I also did the classic wash with a tissue in a trouser pocket the other week too, when everything comes out looking like it's been in a snow storm. I am not sure I will ever be enough of a grown up to avoid washing machine disasters.
So that's it for Amsterdam content, hope you have enjoyed it - as I said I am in Paris as I write that so will be sharing some Parisian backdrops next week, with a little of London here and there too!
