Making Something Work For You

I am completely the kind of person who wants what I can't have. Whether it be different hair, the sold-out-everywhere-shoes, or the trends that just don't work for me. Although I am a high-neckline girl, sometimes you've just got to go for a deep v, and one way to do is wearing a blazer as a top. I have been seeing this look on so many bloggers and I love it! However, it just isn't a trend that works for me - it's exclusively reserved for a flat chest. I tried all my blazers out, and all of them sat away from my chest in such a way that it would have been wildly inappropriate to leave the house.

Then, low and behold, two things happened to solve all my issues! The first was in the heavenly form of Triangl Underwear, who kindly sent me this bra. With no under-wiring or padding, it doesn't create an OTT cleavage. The second, was my own brainwave. I don't know why it took me so long to realise that this trend wouldn't only work with a blazer, but once I did my life changed for ever (small exaggeration). So I took out my COS silk coat - the shapelessness and loose fit meant it didn't sit off my body at all. Just a small alteration with a safety pin to keep the whole look PG, I was good to go.
