After a really good night's sleep and a wholesome breakfast at my Premier Inn, I was up bright and early to meet the lovely Laura from A Forte of Fashion. It was so lovely to meet another Leeds lady! My day started with the RewardStyle brunch, which was such a good event as there were so many lovely bloggers there (and macaroons, so it was always destined for great things). From there I headed to the Burberry shop in Regent St to watch the screening of their show, which was incredible. It (as so many other shows of the season) was heavily focused on textures, featuring denim, mesh, giant sequins. And of course the iconic Burberry trench!
This outfit definitely felt the least 'me' out of everything I wore. I bought this coat in New York from the new H&M Studio collection, and I loveeee it. However, I would normally add my skinny jeans and a knit with something like this. As it was LFW I decided to be bold and go for a LBD and some statement boots. I got a lot of compliments on the boots which was lovely, but even so, I would lying if I felt like I was being completely true to my own style with this look.
What do you guys think??
I also headed for some lunch with the gorgeous Hannah, who kindly did some streetstyle snaps for me (I love this picture of my boots!!), before heading off to the Le Photographe presentation with Laura. Perfect day!
Le Photographe SS15
The Le Photographe collection was very impressive. The details and embroidery were incredible, every single piece was full of so much craftwork, even what looked like the plain white item was full of detailed embroidery. Although the pieces weren't something I would typically wear, I loved how these simple items were updated by the detail. As I have said before, dressing in a minimal style often means the details and make a look!
