So I have decided to set myself a little challenge for October to keep things interesting over here! The title 'October on the High Street' might give it away a little, but I am going to dedicate October to styling outfits made up of only high street brands. I am huge fan of high street shopping, I don't think it necessarily has to be throwaway fashion, there are many wardrobe investments to be found in the high street at a great price. The only problem I find is that the clothes can sometimes look cheap, and in my opinion if you're spending money you don't want to be on something look cheap - even if it was cheap!
I am going to show you guys how I style my high street clothes to look as high end as possible. The only exception to my high street looks will the shoes, you guys know that I can't resist shoes! I would like to point out that I don't think shoes have to be a designer brand to look expensive, I just have a soft spot for shoes and love to save up for my favourite pairs! Where possible, I will link a high street alternative for any designer shoes I may be wearing.
Remember the post I did about duster coats with these Ark ones, still on my mind! This ASOS one is also similar, just a little longer, which I love!
This River Island pair is similar, and I love the croc effect!
