New Years Thoughts

Happy New Year everyone!! I bet everyone is saying this today, but I can't believe it is already 2015, where has this year gone? Firstly I want to say thank you for all your lovely comments yesterday on my post, I was quite nervous to share it so I was so relieved you all enjoyed it.

I am not a huge fan of New Years resolutions, but I like the idea of taking the time to reflect and maybe decide what you like to change throughout the year, so I thought I would share my blog plans for the coming year.

So, here is what you can expect on Shot From The Street in 2015..

1. Getting personal
This is my little personal space on the internet, and I think it should be a little more personal than it is! I am going to try make who I am shine through a little bit more, and share with you more of my day to day life. So you can expect to see 'Week In The Life' posts a lot more!

2. The same content... but better!
Although I will introduce a little more lifestyle, my biggest interest is fashion, and this will remain a blog focused on fashion and personal style. Hopefully the photos you see will continue to improve, and my wardrobe will continue to expand to give me more to work with to inspire you guys.

3. Creative posts
So here is the first bit of me getting personal: I am a very creative person. I went to art school and did a foundation year, and although I didn't pursue a path of fine art, I continue to study the subject in my History of Art degree. I LOVE to draw, and it is something I never do anymore, but I plan to change all that and incorporate it into my blog!

4. Informative
Whenever I am blogging and thinking of new ideas, I always consider what I would want to gain from reading someone else's blog. One of those things is usually information of some sort, and so I am going to make things here a little more informative. Don't worry, it's not going to get all serious, I just plan to let you know my opinions on the items I buy. I get emails from some of you asking if things fit to size, if some shoes are comfy, so I will make sure that information is here at your fingertips.

All of this isn't suddenly going to be happening tomorrow, although I wish it could! I am currently working my way toward two essay deadlines on January the 8th, and from there I only have a couple of months until the dreaded 15,000 word dissertation hand in! Sadly I am bound by the constraints of time, and these changes will come gradually. Slowly, but definitely surely!

This one from ASOS is very similar and I loveeeee it!
