Where To Stay in Stockholm

Finally I am showing you a bit more about the highlight of my trip to Stockholm: the hotel. We stayed at the Story Hotel in Riddargaten, just off Birger Jarlsgatan which was one of the main shopping streets in Stockholm. So as far as the location goes, you couldn't beat it!

What Harry and I loved about the hotel the most was the fact it wasn't like any other we had stayed at before. The best way I can describe it would be to say it was cool and quirky (and if, like me, you are an Instagram addict, you'll be in heaven!) We stayed in a King room, and it was huge! We were spoilt with the space we had, and the layout and decor made it feel like home. All the major aspects that would make me value a hotel were covered: comfy bed? Check. Clean rooms? Check. Powerful shower? Check. Space to store my clothes? Check. Friendly staff? Double check!!

In fact, it went beyond all of these. The beds were not only comfy, but huge! Definitely the biggest bed I have ever slept in! The rooms were airy, fresh and with ample space to put everything away so we didn't spend the weekend tripping over things on the floor. The shower was not only powerful, but the room had underfloor heating too!!! The staff were so helpful, anything we needed they could provide with ease.

The rest of the hotel also met the standards of the amazing rooms. The choice at breakfast was great, and the bar was the best we found in Stockholm (if you ever find yourself there, you gotta try the Middle East cocktail).

I've got a post about Stockholm and my fave spots coming tomorrow which includes a vlog, nearly all the footage I filmed was in the hotel so be sure to check that out if you want to see even more.

*Story Hotel kindly offered me a discount to my stay. However, I would have gladly paid the full price for the quality of the hotel. All opinions stated here are honest, I would truly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Stockholm*
