OK so I bet that was a post title you never expected to read on here! Well, in my defence I had mentioned I wanted to incorporate a little more lifestyle onto the blog, and colouring in is an aspect of my lifestyle. Now let me try and explain this without sounding like a complete saddo...

Two Christmas' ago my Mum bought me The Big Book of Drawing, Doodling and Colouring, and it was genuinely one of the best presents ever. Why? Because I found it instantly soothing and therapeutic! Since then colouring books for grown ups seem to be everywhere, so I am really spoilt for choice. I have now amassed quite the collection, which are all started and none finished. I love to sit down in an evening (or any time of the day if I am being honest), and getting stuck into a page of one of my colouring books. As I spend nearly all my day staring at a screen (don't we all??), sometimes I don't fancy watching TV or playing on my PlayStation 2 (deffo coming off as a saddo now), and this is the perfect alternative. If you're ever stressed, or struggling to relax, I can't reccommend colouring in enough. As out of place as this post may seem in the midst of my personal style, I wanted to share this with you guys. Below is a little list of all the books shown here for you want to give it a go yourself!

The Big Book of Drawing, Doodling and Colouring for Girls
This one has lots of similar pages to the one above, I personally prefer this one because it has more patterns to colour in, but you wouldn't need them both.

Colour it Chic, Adorn and Accessorise
This one has lots of typography pages to play with which is great, however, each page is in it about three times for some reason. A little repetitive!

Secret Garden
This one is really popular and for good reason, lots of intricate designs and the paper is really lovely.

Art For Mindfullness: Landscapes
This one as a quote on every page relating it mindfullness which is such a nice touch.

Chat Therapie
Cats and colouring??? Clearly my idea of heaven!
