Classic Trainers | Converse

I literally could not tell you how many years I have been wearing Converse for, or how many pairs I have owned. There was a time when they were pretty much the only shoe I would wear. Now they don't feature as heavily in my wardrobe, but at least once I year I revive for my love for them and remind myself of why they are the best trainers. So when ASOS asked me to style up two looks featuring some of Converse's latest collection, of course I jumped at the chance!!

The first look was built around a white t-shirt. As it was oversized (I love a baggy tee), I tucked it into some veryyyyy tight fitting jeans, which actually gave me the illusion of having a waist I don't have! Hurrah!! Add my ASOS Pea Coat, and some off white Converse and I was good to go. What doesn't show up in these snaps is that these converse have a really padded tongue, making them even more comfier than usual, which I wouldn't have even thought was possible.

My second look involves print and colour that didn't send me running to the hills. Plaid shirts I can totally cope with (I went through a plaid shirt phase last year too), but of course I had to style it with all black. I sort of ended up with a laid back suit vibe, which I am really loving. This particular pair of Converse were completely different to any I have owned before, and I caught Harry wistfully eyeing them up the other day. Thankfully his feet are considerably bigger than mine, otherwise I think these would have been slipped into his bag!!
