Here are a couple of outfits I wore last week which, looking back on, I don't love too much. I wanted to share them anyway as my blog documenting a style journey, and sometimes what I feel like wearing on a certain day isn't necessarily something that I feel great in. Both of these looks just feel too casual. You guys know I am a huge lover of a dressed down look, but I like it to feel put together and cohesive, and for some reason these outfits don't quite feel like that.
That being said, both looks contain a new item I am loving so much. The plaid shirt was a vintage find, and is so thick it can double up as a jacket. And the shearling denim jacket that was a late night impulse order I made in front of the TV. Maybe they will both take a bit of time to fit into my wardrobe and for me to find the perfect way of styling them! I promise you will see both pieces on here again soon, hopefully in outfits that I feel better about!
As I said, my blog documents my personal style and the journey it has taken, and continue to takes. I have a strong sense of my own style and I know what I like, but that doesn't mean my outfits are always perfect. It's important to try new things to decide what we do and don't like to wear, and I think it's important I share that with you guys too.
