I have two posts to share with you from Lisbon, I loved the city so so much so wanted to do a big travel guide about it. We stayed in apartment called the Lisboans which I booked through Mr & Mrs Smith (which is usually my starting point whenever I am booking a trip), and it was amazing! The location was perfect, the apartment itself was beautiful and a great little spot to have a five minute sit down after a long say walking around and exploring. I really, really recommend it! On the first evening we ate at an incredible fish restaurant called Ramiro. We had to wait around 45 mins for a table, which apparently is the norm so do bare that in mind, but it’s totally worth the wait. Inside it the sort of run down decor that often equates to an amazing authentic meal in European cities. Now I am fan of seafood but not the BIGGEST fan (I would always opt for meat on a menu), but this really was amazing food.

The following morning we found a gorgeous little coffee spot called Comoba with a lovely window seat to sit and watch the world go by from. We went there on both days in the end because the coffee was SO good. From there we wander down to the water front where we took some bikes over to Bélem Tower, where we also had some (six in total, if you must know) Pastel de Natas which were incredible and I have since been on the hunt for them in London (good ones) so I can have them regularly… ideally daily. Or twice daily. We then cycled back at relative high speed to catch the sunset at a spot called PARK (so called because it’s in a carpark, which you can easily walk past several times). It was HEAVING on the roof due to the incredible view of the city, so we sneakily bought some beers and drank them on another floor with an equally amazing view. We then went out for dinner at Pistola y Corazon, another one you have to wait for, but you can do so while drinking what has to be THE BEST margaritas ever ever. The food was great too but the margaritas really did stand out at something else!
