Writing this post on a Sunday evening in my warm flat after another lovely weekend spent with friends, feeling happy and content and very excited for the intense week of travelling coming up - between now and this time next week I will be visiting Bologna, Frome and Amsterdam. Not bad for a week!! I feel like it’s been a while since I back-to-back travelled like this and I am looking forward to how hectic and inspiring it feels. But first, I am sharing some new photos shot in London. I have been working with more and more photographers and loving the boost it gives to my creativity and content. Remember when I shared the styling work I did for Daisy London? Well the photographer who worked on that was the incredible Laura who has taken these photos. I have a few more to share from her and they are some of my favourites ever, so I a very excited for this week’s blog content!
This outfit is really all about this rather eye-wateringly expensive coat that Sandro gifted me. This shearling beauty is literally the warmest thing I have ever worn. It comes with a belt too which I have been taking off because it felt a bit too dressing gown-y with that on. But without I love the simple shape and silhouette, not to mentioned how outrageously luxurious this feels to wear. To be honest, would I spend this much on a coat? No, I wouldn’t. Just because I have never parted with that sort of money for anything except a handbag, and I find doing that very uncomfortable too (it really is madness what we spend on things isn’t it?!). But this isn’t to say I wouldn’t recommend this coat if you were in the market for something incredibly warm and chic and were happy to really invest in something. The quality is gorgeous of this piece, and you will also find people give you long lingering hugs when you wear it because it is SO soft!!
